Ternyata…Aslinya Jelek

This is just a random thought dan mungkin hal nggak pernah aku share soalnya aku ga nyadar sebetapa penting nya akan hal ini sampai sore tadi hairstylist aku bilang bahwa dia pernah megang client yang ngomongin  aku. Katanya “Gila Harumi aslinya beda banget sama yang di  Instagram” which is katanya si client nya dia ini anak UPH juga jadi wajar sih dia ngomong gitu secara kadang gw ngampus gak mandi, yang lebih sadis lagi ada yang sampe komen di page IG and I don’t even know her!

Kalo kata-kata ini nyampe ke kuping aku 5 tahun yang lalu aku pasti bakal SNAPPP GILAAAA dan cari justifikasi blablabla dan orang yang ngomongin itu bakal masuk ke little black book Harumi Sudradjat tapi tadi aku super nyantai beause I’m pretty sure yang ngomong kaya gitu gak cuma satu orang, mungkin kamu pernah satu lift atau papasan sama aku di UPH dan dalam hati bilang “gila ni orang sih ngedit foto Instagramnya jago banget” hahaha.. I’m not offended in fact aku gak bantah bahwa aku ke kampus memang gak dandan, pake baju seadanya, rambut uwel uwelan, gak pake softlense,  but you know what… I LOVE MYSELF with or without makeup. Aku pede dengan rambut frizzy ku, aku tau kulit muka ku gak mulus and I’m not a size ZERO, aku gak butuh pengakuan dari siapapun untuk menjadi diriku sendiri. There’s a quote saying:

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about

and I don’t expect everyone to understand that I’m  3 years behind my graduating schedule, I have NO friends left in uni AND on top of that she has a millionzilliontrillion things to take care of after class, SO given the fact an opinion saying that I look like crap in real life, is really a gentle reminder for me that I should look good while doing all things above. No offense taken, and 0 f*cks given really.

Jadi untuk siapapun yang bilang gw aslinya jelek… Terimakasih udah ngingetin kalo pagi ke kampus tuh bangun 30 mins lebih early untuk mandi, nyatok, dandan.. Sayangnya gw yakin yang ngomong ini masih di dalam janin kali ya pas jaman gw masih awal masuk kuliah, jaman ke kelas pake hairclip & bulumata palsu while maintaining a 3.0 GPA, but those daaays are long gone. I have different priorities now, and I don’t really care about my hair or how I look, I just need to graduate and move on to the next phase.

I realize that there are SO many things that will bring down your self esteem everyday, there will always be someone skinnier, prettier, richer, smarter, hotter, nicer than you BUT…. No one can be you. So don’t compare yourself to others, every moment every day do something that makes you comfortable in your own skin, only til then you’ll realize how beautiful you are inside and out

BTW..If ever I bumped into someone I know from social media in real life and they look DIFFERENT than expected, I would’ve said the same thing hahaha…So once again, no offense taken, zero f*cks given. If you can spot me in uni please say Hi! I would love to meet ya’ll little stalkers!
