Kadang pertanyaan yang sering sekali aku dapat tapi bingung jawabnya adalah “Mi makeup apa sih yang bagus?” karena buatku, gak ada makeup yang jelek semuanya tergantung cocok atau nggaknya. Pasti pernah kan ngalamin beli foundation udah mahal-mahal eh ternyata gak OKE hasilnya atau mungkin beli BB cream murah meriah tapi pas make yang muji banyak? Nahhh that’s the beauty of makeup, there’s no right or wrong and the best one is the one that looks good on you.
Jadi kalo ditanya makeup apa sih yang bagus aku pasti nanya balik, kebutuhanya apa dan budget nya berapa? Biasanya sih jawabanya “Yaa yang cocok buat kulitku and gak terlalu mahal” nah statement kedua itu request yang paling sering aku dengar, siapa sih yang gak mau makeup dengan harga bersahabat but with luxury quality? I know I’m always on the hunt for those precious gems!
Aku lumayan pecinta drugstore brand makeup dan kadang suka sebel kalo misalnya ada produk yang cocok tapi drugstorenya ada di US atau Eropa, ya jatohnya bukan drugstore itu mah tiketnya aja udah berapa ya kan hahaha jadi aku senengggg banget kalo udah nemu produk lokal yang cocok, karena selain gampang untuk aku belinya kalo aku recommend ke orang lain juga dia gampang belinya!
Naaah … ada satu drugstore brand makeup lokal yang aku cocok dan recommend ke kalian yaitu Beauty Story, pas pertama kali liat produk nya aku pikir brand Korea karena packaging nya cute & pink. Lumayan kaget pas tau ternyata ini brand lokal yang produknya di formulasi di Germany with the best & safe ingredients sama seperti Luxury makeup, dan salah satu plus point yang terpenting adalah that all products is PARABEN FREE, yes ladies it is free from the cancerous makeup lifespan extender so you don’t have to doubt the quality!
Just looking at the packaging dan juga warna-warna dari setiap produk nya I can tell right off the bat that this brand is all about that feminine, natural, pretty personalities tanpa harus jadi orang lain. That’s just perfect for your daily makeup girls.

Ini salah satu kategori favorit aku dari Beauty Story soalnya ada best selling product nya yaitu Smooth & Luminous Primer which gives my face that healthy dewy skin look (menurutku efeknya 11-12 sama Laura Mercier Foundation Primer yang Radiance) dan satu lagi Magical CC Cream Real Complexion yang gak cuma bikin kulit kamu keliatan flawless tapi juga ada SPF protection 30 PA+++ and with continued use dapat mencerahkan dan melembapkan kulit.
Eyes
Nah kalo dari kategori ini product highlight nya adalah Romantic Eye Pencil, ini kaya produk all in one gitu jadi it’s a creamy eyeshadow stick yang bisa jadi eyeliner juga. Selain itu di bagian bawah pensil ini ada rautanya jadi ga perlu takut tumpul.

By far ini adalah kategori favorit aku soalnya selain pilihan warna nya cocok untuk sehari-hari, tekstur & color payoff nya LOVE BANGET. It’s not just your regular drugstore lip products, they’re actually very pigmented and feels nice on your lips. Lipstick finish nya bisa dibilang cukup satin and the gloss are pretty opaque.

If you’re following my Snapchat then you’ve seen this first karena I posted a swatch of the nailpolishes yang warna-warna pastel. Gemes banget sih aku suka banget sama SEMUA warna nail polish nya. Untuk dapetin warna sesuai yang kaya di botol it takes 2-3 coats and jangan lupa pake top coat nya supaya hasilnya glossy.
